This design was created following a creative brief challenging me to create a poster for the tech and innovation festival called Futurbit. I was given a long list of text that needed to be incorporated into my poster, but I had complete freedom to come up with a sophisticated composition and attractiveness. Furthermore, a grid system was important to follow not only for eliminating chaotic space but also to give all elements of the design unison. The "FUTURBIT" letters are sitting on panels that overlap each other, with the "F" being in the back and the "R" technically in the front.
A series of concept sketches helped me brainstorm a variety of compositions, typography, graphics, and other content. Number 5 was the finalized idea that displays "FUTUR" on panel-like shapes that overlap each other. The theme of the poster follows a very futuristic space game.
