This project last roughly 4 months and required me to design an entire podcast app from scratch. I decided to name it "MagnaCast" which "Magna" in Italian translates to "great", thus the name meaning "GreatCast." As I branched into UX design I learned a tremendous amount about usability, UX principles, how to design for mobile, and additionally how to test, conduct research, and prototype. Attached on visual display is an iPhone 13 mockup as well as additional screens/slides below to showcase the amount of energy and skill that went into this product.

The target audience for the app was those from the age of about 18-50 who listen to podcasts on a regular basis but who also have previous experience with podcast apps in use today. The User Persona of Mike Fisher focuses on an older adult in law enforcement who listens whether in the patrol car, in the office doing paperwork, or at home during free time.
This is the User Journey in which the user discovers podcasts and finishes with wanting to continue watching.
Detailed wireframes were created and tested to see where the user was clicking when given certain tasks. Most tasks were successful and one was not. Adjustments to the design were made.
Additional screens to show the heat spots where the user clicked.
This is a display of the design system for MagnaCast.
Adobe XD was used for the whole creation of MagnaCast.
